Trying to weed out gluten and lactose from your family's diet?
Try this yummy recipe!
1. Make the bean sauce - Puree your favorite beans with half a bottle of Trader Joes tomatillo sauce. Warm on the stove.
2. Make the chips - Cut Trader Joes 99cent corn tortillas into quarters. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes on both sides. They should be thoroughly crunchy, but not burnt.
3. Make the cheese sauce - Puree 1/4 cup cashews, 1/4 vegetable broth, 1 cup nutritional yeast, 1 red pepper, sprinkle sesame seeds, dash salt. Warm on the stove.
4. Layer the beans, chips, cheese sauce. Top with salsa and green onions.
